Hand Me Down

After 18 years of separation, Kyle, (Nick Frangione,) is forced to reunite with his sick and fading father, Sam Phelps, (Chuck Phelps.) Sam’s past as a once famous Southern Rock musician has made him quite the celebrity in the eyes of Kyle’s girlfriend, Julie, (Vanessa Donley.) More importantly, Julie is determined to mend Kyle and Sam’s differences. In their two days with each other, Kyle, Sam, and Julie discover how difficult it is to fix years of built up pain and misunderstanding. Julie views her once loving boyfriend through new eyes, Sam fully realizes the cost of his mistakes, and Kyle becomes his own worst nightmare. As the first film of Sacred Harp Films, director Nick Frangione brings together a wonderful crew of actors, and filmmakers. The film was shot by Professional Photographer, Mike Sugrue, and Co-Produced by Sundance winning director Eric Escobar.
